- Miquel Saucedo of West Des Moines was stopped at a stop sign after exiting U.S. Interstate 80 onto County Road R16 when he was struck by an unknown vehicle that caused Saucedo’s vehicle to spin around and strike a utility pole. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $4000. Saucedo was issued a citation for failure to have a valid Iowa driver’s license.
*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
