- Hugo Juarez Mata of Perry was traveling on T Avenue when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $5,000.
Nov. 11, 2024
- River Wendland, 20, of 538 N. Park Ave., Centerville, was arrested for OWI and issued citations for improper brake light, driving while suspended, person under 21 using tobacco product and operating a non-registered vehicle.
- A minor was traveling on N Avenue near at 330th Street when the minor’s vehicle struck a vehicle, driven by Taylor Vandiver of Waukee, which in turn struck a vehicle, driven by Bayron Carmenate Arellano of Des Moines. No injuries were reported. Damage to Arellano’s vehicle was estimated at $2,000, and damage to Vandiver’s vehicle was estimated at $28,100. Damage to the minor’s vehicle was estimated at $34,500. The minor was issued a citation for failure to stop in assured clear distance.
- Dominique Nordheim, 39, of 21111 Barry Dr., Adel, was arrested on a warrant for sex offender registration violation.
- Gemini Smith, 20, of 8330 Harbach Blvd., Clive, was arrested for second-degree robbery, fifth-degree criminal mischief and assault while participating in a felony.
- Elnour Manawar of Des Moines was traveling in the 29000 block of Iowa Highway 141 when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $8,000.

- Cassandra Mrozek of Guthrie Center was traveling in the 1700 block of J Avenue when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $10,000.
