November 15, 2023
- Floyd Peterman of Corning was traveling in the 17000 block of N Avenue when his vehicle struck a vehicle, driven by Jessica Kimball of Bouton. Peterman’s semi-tractor trailer pushed Kimball’s vehicle into the ditch, where it overturned. No injuries were reported. Damage to Kimball’s vehicle was estimated at $10,000, and damage to Peterman’s vehicle was estimated at $10,000. Peterman was issued a citation for failure to stop in assured clear distance.
November 19, 2023
- Kiya Determan of Norwalk was traveling on U.S. Interstate 80 at the Grand Prairie Parkway on ramp when a semi-tractor trailer struck a deer next to Determan’s vehicle, knocking the animal into Determan’s lane and damaging her vehicle. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $3,000.
November 20, 2023
- Stephen Penrod, 42, of the Fort Des Moines Residential Facility, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
- Shawn Jones, 40, of 1550 L St., Fort Dodge, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
