October 31, 2019

  • Radonna Diane Claibourn of Adel was issued a citation for unlawful passing of a school bus.

November 1, 2019

  • Larry Latshaw of Minburn was traveling in the 24000 block of N Avenue when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $2,000.
  • Rebecca Dixon of Windsor, Colo., was traveling near the 115 mile marker of U.S. Interstate 80 when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $15,000.

November 2, 2019

  • Larry Bednar of Granger was traveling west on State Street and entering the intersection in order to turn south on Iowa Highway 141 when his vehicle was struck by a vehicle driven by Angela Brenizer of Norwalk. Bednar was transported to the hospital by Granger EMS. Damage to Brenizer’s vehicle estimated at $3,000, and damage to Brenizer’s vehicle was estimated at $3,000. Brenizer was issued a citation for failure to respond to steady red light, and Bednar was issued a citation for failure to have insurance.
  • Pablo Antonio Lopez Trejo, 26, of unknown address was arrested at 1912 Main St. in Granger for interference with official acts and public intoxication.
  • Lamiya Lanay Smith, 19, of 1152 S.E. Mapleleaf Lane, Waukee, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while license suspended.
  • Scotty Lee Hays, 29, of 1501 W. Third St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of domestic abuse.
