- Jocelyn Kovaleski, 51, of 602 Vine St., Dallas Center, was arrested for OWI and open container.

- Randall Porter, 67, of Third St., Wyoming, Illinois, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.
- Ashlee Adams, 36, of 1312 Greene St., Adel, was arrested for reckless driving, harassment, and criminal mischief.
- Jay Larson of Casey was traveling near 310th Street and the Dexfield Road when his vehicle was struck by a vehicle, driven by Shawn Maloney of Scranton. No injuries were reported. Damage to Larson’s car was estimated at $4,000, and damage to Maloney’s car was estimated at $4,000. Maloney was issued a citation for failure to obey a stop sign.
Nov. 4, 2023
- Chad Menz, 42, of 1420 Evelyn St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of domestic abuse assault.
- Raina Anderung, 41, of 610 Walnut St., Minburn, was arrested for domestic abuse assault and three counts of child endangerment.
- Jacklynn Bradley, 34, of 1502 Cherry Creek Dr., Winterset, was arrested for OWI and issued a citation for speeding.
- Tamara Tolefree, 43, of 315 Second Ave., Van Meter, was arrested for driving while barred.
- Andrew Gross of West Des Moines was traveling near the intersection of Old Highway 6 and L Avenue when his vehicle was struck by a vehicle, driven by Emily Piepmeier of Adel. No other injuries were reported. Damage to Piepmeier’s vehicle was estimated at $10,000, and damage to Gross’ vehicle was estimated at $10,000. Gross was issued a citation for failure to yield entering highway.

- Amie Shriner, 42, of 1305 E. 36th St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of theft.
- Williow Buttler, 18, of 3077 Highway 44, Panora, was arrested for OWI and issued citations for stopping on paved part of highway and possession of alcohol by person under 21.
Nov. 6, 2023
- Tyler Kinkade, 29, of 1550 L Street, Fort Dodge, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of fifth-degree theft.
- Raymond Gist, 22, 1820 Logan Ave, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
- Yaneli Perez, 30, of 2665 Summer Meadows Dr., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while suspended.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
