- Sydney Manning of De Soto was traveling south on N Avenue and stopped to turn left onto Overton Circle when she was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Nash Foreman of West Des Moines. No injuries were reported. Damage to Manning’s vehicle was estimated at $2000, and damage to Foreman’s vehicle was estimated at $1500. Foreman was issued a citation for failure to stop in assured clear distance.

- Angela Jean Tuller, 37, of 605 State St., Dexter, was arrested at Richland Road and 360th Street for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
- Austin Leon Love, 19, of 615 S.W. Seventh St., Stuart, was arrested at Richland Road and 360th Street for possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension.

- Madarifovich Bohodir of Philadelphia, Pa., was traveling near the 101 mile marker of U.S. Interstate 80 when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to Bohodir’s vehicle was estimated at $1500.
