- Sheri Kappelman of De Soto was traveling north on U.S. Highway 169 and slowing down to turn into the U.S. Post Office in De Soto when her vehicle was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Amanda Masters of Cambridge City, Ind. No injuries were reported. Damage to Masters’ vehicle was estimated at $2,000, and damage to Kappelman’s vehicle was estimated at $1,000. Masters was issued a citation for failure to maintain control.
