- Jacob Mitchell of Winterset was traveling in a dump truck in the 12000 block of 270th Street when his vehicle struck a cow. No injuries were reported. The cow was returned to its field. Damage was estimated at $1,500.
Oct. 12, 2023
- Daniel Keller of Dallas Center was traveling on 250th Street near T Avenue when his vehicle was struck from behind by a vehicle, driven by Wyatt Orr of Dallas Center. No injuries were reported/ Damage to Keller’s vehicle was estimated at $900, and damage to Orr’s vehicle was estimated at $1,200. Orr was issued a citation for failure to stop in assured clear distance and OWI.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
