- Linda Clayton of Adel was traveling in the 30000 block of U.S. Highway 169 when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $3,000.
October 17, 2019
- Lisa Gibson of Dexter was traveling east on White Pole Road when she stopped at the stop sign to turn south on Old Highway 6 and was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Gregory Goering of Dexter. No injuries were reported. Damage to each vehicle was estimated at $1,000.
- Faird Ramos of Goshen, Ind., was traveling in the 34000 block of R Avenue when he stopped to check his GPS and exited his vehicle without putting the vehicle in park. The vehicle rolled into a ravine and came to rest against some trees. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $5,000.

- Christopher Wayne Branson, 30, of 1859 335th St., Salem, Iowa, was arrested on a warrant for sexual abuse and possession of a depiction of a minor in a sex act.
