Oct. 23, 2023
- Ryan Ayers, 31, of 413 Fourth St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
- Elvis Dizdarevic of Ankeny was driving in the 35000 block of Ute Avenue when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $5,000.
- Jontavius Franklin, 26, of 409 17th Ave., East Moline, Illinois, was arrested for possession of controlled substance.

- Ann Moreno, 53, of 5257 Dakota Dr., West Des Moines, was arrested for OWI and issued a citation for failure to provide proof of financial liability, open container and driving in improper lane.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
