- Steven Thomas Abarr, 54, of 1453 S.E. Sapphire Lane, Waukee, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation on original charges of assault and harassment.
October 29, 2023
- Adam Gray Wilkinson, 39, of 2718 Den Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation on an original charge of eluding.
- Charles Val Wilson, 43, of 3044 Raccoon St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while license suspended.
- Madison Becker of Des Moines was traveling in the 33000 block of N Avenue when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $2,000.
- Abraham Bell of Granger was traveling in the 15000 block of Iowa Highway 17 when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $10,000.
- Daniel Tibben of Manning was traveling on the curve on Iowa Highway 141 near Woodward when a vehicle, driven by Dionel Jeudy of Orlando, Florida, sideswiped Tibben’s vehicle. No injuries were reported. Damage to Tibben’s vehicle was estimated at $1,500, and damage to Jeudy’s vehicle was estimated at $1,500.

- Brock Anthony Bitner, 35, of Hanna City, Illinois, was arrested at the 105 mile marker of U.S. Interstate 80 for possession of a controlled substance and person ineligible to carry dangerous weapon and was issued a citation for speeding.
- Gabrielle Alaia Carlin, 26, of Mason City, Illinois, was arrested at the 105 mile marker of U.S. Interstate 80 for possession of a controlled substance.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
