Oct. 1, 2025
- Alejandro De Las Cuevas Zamora of Des Moines was traveling in the 31000 block of 130th Court when his vehicle left to roadway and entered the ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $15,000. De Las Cuevas Zamora was issued a citation for failure to maintain control.
Oct. 3, 2025
- Andrew Thoma, 41, of 214 S.W. Second St., Ogden, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while suspended.
- Shane Davis, 48, of 512 N. Division St., Stuart, was arrested for driving while barred.
- Hunter Lindsay of Longmont, Colorado, was traveling on U.S. Interstate 80 near the 106 mile marker when his vehicle left the roadway and entered the ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $10,000.
Oct. 4, 2025
- A vehicle owned by Joshua Fajardo of Johnston and operated by an unknown driving was traveling in the area of 32000 G Trail when the vehicle left to roadway and entered the ditch. The driver abandoned the vehicle. Damage was estimated at $6,000.
- Kristi Carlson of Woodward was traveling on T Avenue near Iowa Highway 141 when her vehicle collided with a vehicle, driven by Gerardo Rivera Landeros of Johnston. A passenger was transported by Dallas County EMS. Damage to Carlson’s vehicle was estimated at $10,000, and damage to . Rivera Landeros’ vehicle was estimated at $10.000 damage. Carlson was issued a citation for failure to yield upon left turn.
- Yoni Felix, 23, of 1624 Estella St., Perry, was arrested for OWI and issued citations for open container, failure to maintain control and no license.
- Riley Reynolds, 26, of 724 Dogwood Lane, Norwalk, was arrested for OWI and possession of drug paraphernalia and issued a citation for open container and improper brake light.
- Melissa Wiederin, 51, of 1509 Jefferson St., Redfield, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of dog at large.
Oct. 5, 2025
- Hamam Saad of Des Moines was traveling in the 32000 block of R Avenue when he swerved to avoid a deer and his vehicle collided with a vehicle, driven by Abdulhadi Almohammad of West Des Moines. No injuries were reported. Damage to each vehicle was estimated at $5,000.
- Andy Wu of Plainfield, Illinois, was traveling on U.S. Interstate 80 when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $2,000.
