- Hunter Holmes of Yale was traveling on Iowa Highway 141 near 190th Street in Granger when his vehicle was struck by a vehicle, driven by John Davey of Urbandale. No injuries were reported. Damage to Holmes’ vehicle was estimated at $250, and damage to Davey’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000. Holmes was issued a citation for failure to obey a traffic control device.

- Cheryl Osborn, 51, of 2444 N. Fourth Ave. W., Newton, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance.
