- Jodene Lane of Waukee was traveling north in the 30000 block of R Avenue when her vehicle struck a deer. Minor injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $15,000.
September 1, 2018
- Donald Leroy Nicholaisen, 38, of 12869 Houston Ave., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while license denied.
- Christi Jane Hokel, 42, of 26060 Burr Oak Lane, Adel, was arrested at the intersection of Bridgewood Boulevard and Jordan Creek Parkway for OWI and improper use of lanes.
September 2, 2018
- Stephen Sawatzky of Lisbon, Iowa, was traveling near the intersection of Pioneer Avenue and 150th Street when he tried to turn but drove into the ditch. Sawatzky was examined by the Dallas County EMS. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $5,000.
September 3, 2018
- Todd Thomas Ofelt, 53, of 1805 N.W. Ashland Parkway, Ankeny, was arrested on a warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of prescription drugs.
- Marty Allen Adair, 49, of 307 N.E. Mill St., Leon, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of OWI.
