- Mitchel Young of Scranton was traveling on Iowa Highway 141 when the vehicle entered the ditch and struck a power pole. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $2,000.
Sept. 18, 2025
- Laron Anderson, 24, of 350 S.W. Second St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
- Taylor Sample, 28, of 5511 Urbandale Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant as a fugitive from justice.
- Joshua Awad, 36, of 7804 W. Donald Dr., Peoria, Illinois, was arrested for first-offense OWI.
