Sept. 19, 2025
- David Woods, 62, of 720 E. Madison Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
- Johnathan Contreras, 20, of 35819 L Way, Earlham, was arrested for failure to appear on an original charge of driving under suspension.
- Bradley Boyd of Earlham was traveling on Iowa Highway 44 when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $1,500.
- Avinash Nagi Re Parisa of Earlham was traveling in 36000 block of N Avenue when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $15,000.
Sept. 20, 2025
- Nicholas Opie of Dallas Center was traveling on Iowa Highway 44 when his vehicle collided with a vehicle, driven by Maleah Strauser. No injuries were reported. Damage to Opie’s vehicle was estimated at $500, and damage to Strausser’s vehicle was estimated at $10,000.
- Blaise Tallman, 18, of 400 N. Fifth St., Guthrie Center, was arrested for first-offense OWI.

- Matthew Linford, 27, of 1536 28th St., Des Moines, was arrested for first-offense OWI.
Sept. 22, 2025
- Karodd Wright, 32, of 1275 S.E. University Ave., Waukee, was arrested on a warrant for parole violation.
- Raiden Bookout of Newton was traveling in the 33500 block of Ute Avenue when he swerved to avoid deer, and his vehicle entered the ditch and struck a utility pole. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $8,000.
