A Dawson man and Perry woman were arrested on Dallas County warrants Wednesday in connection with a Dawson incident earlier this month in which the woman allegedly assaulted a Perry girl before playing bumper cars with “her baby-daddy,” according to court records.

Riley Rose Carroll, 22, of 1903 W. Fourth St., Perry, was charged with assault, child endangerment and violation of a no-contact order.

Christian Skyler Love, 22, of 18488 E Ave., Dawson, was charged with first-offense domestic abuse assault, child endangerment and violation of a no-contact order.

The incident occurred about 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 10 at a residence in the 18400 block of E Avenue in rural Dawson, where Carroll allegedly assaulted a 16-year-old Perry girl “by throwing two glasses of an unknown liquid” into her “face, striking” the victim “in the upper torso/head region with her hand, and pulling” the victim’s “hair,” according to court records.

Love intervened to stop the alleged assault, and Carroll then left the residence in a 2014 Jeep Cherokee, with Love pursuing in a 2013 Ford F150 pickup truck, according to court records. As the vehicles traveled northbound on E Avenue, they were allegedly “colliding and rubbing together multiple times, causing visible damage/paint transfer/smears to both vehicles.”

Roadway markings indicated one or both of the vehicles exited the roadway “multiple times,” according to court records.

A 4-year-old child was a passenger in Carroll’s Jeep during the course of the incident, according to court records. Love told law enforcement that “once he observed the child’s presence” in Carroll’s vehicle, “he ceased his actions and returned to his residence,” according to court records.

A warrant for Carroll’s arrested was ordered Aug. 13 in Dallas County District Court and served Aug. 14. Carroll was held in the Dallas County Jail on a $300 cash or surety bond. She is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Aug. 27 in Dallas County District Court.

A warrant for Love’s arrested was ordered Aug. 13 in Dallas County District Court and served Aug. 13. Love was held in the Dallas County Jail on a $300 cash or surety bond. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Aug. 27 in Dallas County District Court.

Love was arrested in rural Perry July 3 on charges of assault while displaying a dangerous weapon, first-offense domestic abuse assault-display or use of a weapon, child endangerment and obstruction of emergency communication. The case is pending in Dallas County District Court.
