The Dallas County Area Retired School Personnel Association (DCARSPA) recently awarded $80 in Perry bucks to four teachers in Perry’s four schools during Teacher Appreciation Week in Perry.
The teachers recognized with Perry Bucks were:
- Susan Alverio—Fifth grade at St. Patrick Catholic School
- Courtney Bahney—Special Education at Perry Elementary School
- Mackenzie Sutton—Special Education at Perry Middle School
- Savanah Belgarde—Art at Perry High School
“It has been a tough year for all of the teachers in the Perry system,” said DCARSPA Treasurer Cindy Jafvert, “and we are happy to be able to recognize a few of them in this way.”
