The Dallas County Hospital in Perry has added a new process to assist patients with financial planning for their medical services at the hospital and clinics.
Brianna Anderson is the DCH financial counselor, and she makes courtesy calls to patients ahead of their scheduled procedures. During these conversations, Anderson provides important information, including estimated out-of-pocket expenses, and assists with customized payment options tailored to the patient’s personal budget.
“Our patients mean the world to us, and we understand the financial strain healthcare can put on our patients,” Anderson said. “Having answers to questions ahead of time will enhance the overall experience and reduce the financial stress. I look forward to connecting with our patients and helping them navigate the financial part of their healthcare experience.”
