A De Soto woman was arrested Wednesday afternoon for allegedly biting a man during an argument.
Katelin Lorene Bickel, 34, of 208 Elm St., De Soto, was charged with first-offense domestic abuse assault-bodily injury or mental illness.
The incident began about 4 p.m. in the 200 block of Elm Street in De Soto, where a Dallas County Deputy Sheriff responded to a report of “an active physical domestic,” according to court records.
The deputy made contact with the male victim, who said “that he was bitten by” Bickel “in the chest and arm both,” according to court records.
The deputy observed on the victim “two bite marks from the incident.”
Bickel told the deputy there was a fight, but “nothing was physical,” according to court records.
Bickel is held in the Dallas County Jail on a $1,000 cash or surety bond. She is scheduled for a preliminary hearing May 14 in Dallas County District Court.
