Dallas County college juniors and seniors enrolled in an education program are reminded that the deadline for applying for a $500 scholarship from Nu Alpha Gamma Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International is April 1.
Applicants must have graduated from a high school in Dallas County in order to be eligible.
Nu Alpha Gamma of Dallas County, a group of active and retired professional women educators, is currently accepting applications for its two annual scholarships.
The group of dedicated educators holds a Grant-in-Aid Silent Auction each December among the members in order to raise funds for the scholarships. The mission of Nu Alpha Gamma, a chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, is the promotion of the professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education.
