A Des Moines man was arrested on a Dallas County warrant Tuesday in connection with an incident last summer in which he allegedly had sex with a child in Waukee on two occasions.
Carson Michael Kruse, 21, of 4697 E. 38th St., Des Moines, was charged with two counts of first-offense third-degree sexual abuse.
According to court records, Kruse allegedly “snuck into the residence” in Waukee on June 3 and again on June 6 in order “to hang out with a 14-year-old female,” and “during this interaction” the pair “had sexual intercourse.”
A warrant for Kruse’s arrest was ordered Dec. 20 in Dallas County District Court and served Dec. 20. Kruse is held in the Dallas County Jail on a $50,000 cash or surety bond.
*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
