A Des Moines man was arrested on a Dallas County warrant Thursday in connection with a January incident in which he allegedly raped a juvenile female and supplied alcohol to an underage person.
Diego Balmaceda-Balmaceda, 23, of 1204 Geil Ave., Des Moines, was charged with third-degree sexual abuse and supplying alcohol to a person under the age of 21 by a person 18 to 20.
The alleged abuse took place Jan. 14 about 5 p.m. in the parking lot of the RecPlex at 6500 Grand Ave. in West Des Moines, where Balmaceda-Balmaceda “did force digital and penis penetration into the vagina of” the 14-year-old or 15-year-old victim, according to curt records.
Balmaceda-Balmaceda also “did admit to purchasing and supplying alcohol to a person 15 years of age” during the same incident, according to court records.
