Doug Latham of rural Earlham received birthday congratulations Friday morning from his fellow members of the Society of Retired Experts (SORE) coffee group at the Perry Perk coffeehouse.
SORE members Ken Finer, Ray Harden, Lou Hoger, Dan Spellman and Tom Ulrich toasted Latham on the anniversary of his birth.
Dale Carhill, a 1980 graduate of Perry High School who now lives in Saipan, also joined the group for morning coffee. Carhill is one of many Bluejay alumni in town this weekend for the all-’80s PHS class reunion.
