The Perry Middle School gym will serve as hosts site Saturday for the annual Elks Hoop Shoot free throw contest.
All students in the Perry Community School District, as well as from select area schools, are eligible to participate in their respective age groups. Both boys and girls will compete, separately, in either the 8-9 year old, 10-11 year old or 12-13 year old categories. Contestant age will be determined by their age as of April 1, 2017.
Students from Perry, ADM, Guthrie Center, Panorama and Woodward-Granger schools will shoot at 12 p.m. The gym will be open at 11 a.m. Winners will advance to the district contest in Storm Lake at a later dater.
