The Perry Fareway raised $1,642.52 last week from its patriotic customers, who donated dollars in the annual “Round Up” fundraiser for the Perry Fourth of July fireworks.
Fareway Manager Travis Landgrebe gave special praise to his 23 cashiers, whose encouragement produced 3,097 donations that averaged more than 50 cents each.
“A big big thank you to all who donated – big and small – to Perry’s 4th of July Fireworks Drive!” said Perry Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Lynsi Pasutti.
