Free summer breakfasts, lunches to start June 5

Once again this summer, free breakfasts and lunches will be provided to all children age 18 and under regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability through the Summer Food Service Program.

The free meals start Monday, June 5. The U.S. Department of Agriculture funds the meals provided through the Summer Food Service program.

Meals will be provided at the Perry Elementary from June 5 to Aug. 4 and at the Perry High School from June 5 to June 30.

Elementary school serving times:

Breakfast – 7:45 a.m. to 9 a.m., Monday through Friday

Lunch – 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday through Friday

High school serving times:

Breakfast ONLY – 7:45 a.m. to 8:45 a.m., Monday through Friday

Adults are encouraged to accompany their children and may purchase breakfast for $1.75 and lunch for $3.25. This is the 17th year meals have been provided to the Perry community by the Summer Food Service Program.

Weekly menus for the Summer Food Service Program will be posted on the Perry School Web Page under lunch menus.
