The family of Balmore Garcia Rivera of Perry has started a GoFundMe page following Balmore’s unexpected death from on-the-job heatstroke Tuesday.
We, as a family, are devastated by losing him,” said Alma Rivera of Perry, cousin of Balmore, on the GoFundMe page. “Cesar, as many of you knew him, was a wonderful, chill person to be around with. He will live forever in our hearts. In times like this, we must come together to help each other out.”
Funds raised by the effort will help the family pay for funeral and memorial costs.
