Nathaniel Aldrich, 30, of Grand Junction was booked into the Greene County Jail Friday on a charge of domestic abuse assault-impeding flow of air or blood.

Aldrich was arrested following a domestic dispute Jan. 8 with his girlfriend.

“He was choking her,” said Greene County Sheriff Jack Williams.

Aldrich was released Jan. 12 by Greene County Magistrate David Frederick Morain. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 29.

Aldrich was convicted on a variety of charges in 2007, including domestic abuse assault with intent or displaying a weapon, carrying a weapon, assault causing injury to a peace officer and third-degree theft. He was convicted in 2008 of third-degree burglary and in 2011 of first-degree harassment.

Also booked Friday into the Greene County Jail was Larry Bush, 53, of Churdan, who was arrested on a charge of child endangerment causing bodily injury.

“He got into a domestic with his kid and caused injuries,” Williams said.
