- Erick Paul Johnson was booked into the Greene County Jail to serve sentence.
- Adam Michael Winger, 39, of Jefferson was booked into the Greene County Jail for violation of probation.
- A deputy assisted with a welfare check on resident in the 700 block of E. Main Street in Grand Junction.
- Deputies assisted with a semi-tractor trailer-versus-pickup head-on accident in the 900 block of V Avenue. Greene County Ambulance, Grand Junction Fire, Jefferson Fire, Iowa State Patrol and Iowa Department of Transportation were at the scene. LifeFlight was requested to the scene to transport. The Iowa State Patrol investigated the accident.

- Jessica Peterson, 36, of Ogden was booked into the jail for fifth-degree theft and third-degree burglary.
- A deputy investigated an illegal hunting complaint in the 1700 block of Q Avenue.
- A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 220th Street near N Avenue.
December 17, 2019
- A deputy investigated a theft in the 400 block of U Avenue.
- A a deputy, Grand Junction Fire and Greene County Ambulance responded to a two-vehicle accident on 220th and 16th streets in Grand Junction. Dale Ganoe, 41, of Jefferson was traveling east on 220th Street in his 2004 Chevrolet Suburban when Jacob Berry, 25, of Jefferson failed to yield the right of way and pulled out in front of Ganoe’s vehicle. Berry was driving a 2007 Pontiac Vibe. Both vehicles ended up in the south ditch and were totaled in the accident. No injuries were reported. Berry was issued a citation for an unsafe turn.
- A deputy investigated a single-vehicle accident on A Avenue just north of 215th Street. Joshua Hill, 37, of Cherokee, driving a tractor and pulling a manure spreader, was traveling south on A Avenue when he went over the railroad tracks too fast, and his vehicle entered the ditch, striking a power pole and pulling down power lines. Damage to the tractor and tank was estimated at $10,000. Ralston Fire and Greene County Roads assisted with closing the road. Ralston was without power for a length of time due to the repairs needed to the power lines. Hill was issued a citation for failure to maintain control.

- Mark Hurley, 55, of Jefferson was booked into the jail for second-offense OWI.
December 18, 2019
- A deputy assisted with receiving Isaiah Burt, 32, of Fairburn, Georgia. Burt was brought from New York for an arrest warrant for a revocation of a pretrial release. He was booked into the Greene County Jail for a revocation of pretrial release.
- A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a stolen vehicle at a retail store in Jefferson.
- A deputy investigated single-vehicle accident on 330th Street just west of E Avenue. Cody Kunecke, 24, of Coon Rapids was driving east on 330th Street in a 2005 Ford F150 when his vehicle struck a cow that was in the roadway, totaling the vehicle. The owner of the cow was notified, and it was removed. Kunecke was issued a citation for driving while license suspended and operation without a registration card or plate.
- A deputy investigated a violation of a no-contact order in the 100 block of N. Chestnut Street in Jefferson.
- A deputy investigated a car-deer accident in the 800 block of 240th Street. Duane Holman, 60, of Ogden struck a deer with his 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe, causing an estimated $1,000 damage.
- A deputy investigated an animal-neglect complaint in the 700 block of Lincoln Street in Scranton.
December 19, 2019
- Eric Grenson, 37, of Jefferson was booked into the jail for first-offense possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 1000 block of Cedar Street in Scranton.
- A deputy arrested Damon Zimpel, 28, of Scranton for first-offense OWI and on an arrest warrant for two counts of fifth-degree theft. Zimpel was booked into the Greene County Jail.
- Deputies assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a vehicle pursuit on 220th Street.
- Jordan Collins, 33, of California was booked into the jail for excessive speed, reckless driving, operating a motor vehicle without owner’s consent, eluding-speeds over 25 mph over the speed limit, first-offense OWI, failure to provide financial liability, failure to obey stop sign, driving on wrong side of two-way highway, speeding in a 55 mph or less zone- going 21 mph or faster over the limit, driving while license suspended or denied and insufficient head lamps.

- Deputies conducted a search warrant at 1004 E. Railroad St. in Grand Junction. Drug paraphernalia and suspected marijuana were located. Charges pending lab results.

- A deputy took a complaint of a train blocking a crossing at Parkland Avenue.
- A deputy investigated a domestic disturbance in the 600 block of North Street in Churdan. Joshua LeClair, 35, of Churdan was arrested for third or subsequent offense domestic abuse assault. LeClair was booked into the Greene County Jail.
December 27, 2019
- A deputy assisted the Iowa Department of Human Services with a theft investigation on Second Street in Grand Junction.
- A deputy investigated a two-vehicle accident on 220th Street near Orchard Avenue. David Hickle, 81, of Boone was traveling east on 220th Street and struck a M-C stock cutter that was attached to a 1995 Case IH 7240 tractor that was also traveling eastbound. Damage to Hickle’s 2005 Ford Taurus was estimated at $1,500. Damage to the tractor, operated by Timothy Tucker, 48, of Jefferson, and the stock cutter was estimated at $10,000. Jefferson Fire Department and Greene County Ambulance responded to the scene. No injuries were reported. Hickle was issued a citation for failure to stop in assured clear distance.

- A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle in the 1100 block of Lincoln Street in Scranton.
- Daniel Miller, 24, of Blakesburg was booked into the jail for driving while barred.
- A deputy investigated a custody dispute in the 400 block of State Street in Scranton.
- A deputy investigated a single-vehicle rollover accident in the 1900 block of W Avenue. Marilyn Heater, 81, of Ogden lost control of her vehicle on the icy roadway, and it rolled into the ditch, totaling the 2014 Chevrolet Malibu. No injuries were reported.
- The Greene County Sheriff, Iowa State Patrol, Greene County Ambulance and Grand Junction Fire responded to a single-vehicle accident on 222nd Street near 220th Street. The driver of the vehicle lost control on the icy roadway, and the vehicle went into the ditch and struck a culvert. The driver was able to get out of the vehicle. The vehicle caught fire and was put out by Grand Junction Fire. The Iowa State Patrol investigated the accident.
