  • A deputy checked on a male who was reported walking around Grand Junction. The deputy requested medical assistance for the person.
  • A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 600 block of Main Street W. in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy investigated a car-versus-deer accident on 220th Street and west of J Avenue. No report needed due to minimal damage.
  • A deputy investigated a domestic in the 1000 block of Sandoe Street E. inGrand Junction.
  • A deputy conducted a welfare check in Grand Junction.
  • Deputies investigated a tractor/trailer-versus-passenger-vehicle accident on 220th Street and Hillcrest in Greene County. Charles Miller, 40, of Morrisonville, Ind., was driving a 1999 Kenworth C900 tractor, and Shelley VanZeldren, 63, of Scranton was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Impala. The vehicles were traveling east on 220th Street when VanZeldren attempted to pass a vehicle in front her. She did not see Miller’s vehicle attempting to pass her as she entered the left lane. Miller pushed VanZeldren’s vehicle by driver’s side for approximately 100 feet before the VanZeldren vehicle entered the north ditch. One of VanZeldren’s passengers was transported by Greene County EMS to Greene County Medical Center for evaluation. Jefferson Fire and Scranton Fire were on the scene to assist. Damage to VanZeldren’s Chevrolet Impala was approximately $7,500, and the Kenworth tractor suffered approximately $2,000 in damage.
  • A deputy conducted a welfare check in Rippey.
  • A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on 230th Street and U Avenue.
