February 22, 2019

  • Craig Kintz of Guthrie Center was arrested for first-offense OWI following a traffic stop in Guthrie Center. Kintz was held on $1,000 bond and later released on his own recognizance following an appearance before the Guthrie County Magistrate.

February 23, 2019

  • A juvenile male from Stuart and a juvenile male from Dexter were referred to juvenile court for possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop in Menlo.
  • Randy Felder of Bagley turned himself in to the Guthrie County Jail to serve a 30-day mittimus for probation violation.
  • Samantha College of Guthrie Center was cited and released on a charge of false report to a public entity following an investigation into an alleged shoplifting violation at a Guthrie Center retail store.

February 24, 2019

  • Travis Smith of Bagley was arrested on a Guthrie County warrant for second-offense domestic abuse assault following a traffic stop in Bayard. As a result of the traffic stop, Smith was also charged with driving under suspension. Smith was initially held without bond but after an appearance before the Guthrie County Magistrate, his bond was set at $100 cash bond. Smith later posted the bond and was released.
  • Kevin Laughery was arrested for first-offense public intoxication near the intersection of Iowa Highway 44 and Iowa Highway 25 in Guthrie Center. Laughery was held on a $300 bond and later pled guilty to the Guthrie County Magistrate and was released.

  • Raymond Flora of Fort Dodge was arrested at the Poweshiek County Jail on Guthrie County warrants for second-degree theft and fifth-degree theft. Flora was transported to the Guthrie County Jail and held on $5,300 cash or surety bond. After appearing before the Guthrie County Magistrate, Flora was then held on $500 cash bond.

March 1, 2019

  • James Vaughan of Yale was arrested on a Guthrie County warrant for third-degree harassment. Vaughan was seen by the Guthrie County Magistrate and held on a $300 cash bond. He later posted the cash bond and was released.
  • Joshua Tisen of Panora turned himself in to the Guthrie County Jail to serve the remainder of his jail sentence on a first-offense OWI conviction.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
