Halloween happiness fills Perry Tuesday evening

Spooks, specters and joyful superheroes abounded at the Dallas County Hospital Safe and Healthy Halloween event Tuesday night.

Spooks, specters and spirits abounded around Perry Tuesday night with Halloween festivities occurring at several venues.

The Dallas County Hospital hosted its annual Safe and Healthy Halloween event, which saw about 1,000 trick or treaters and their parents and guardians pass through the hospital’s haunted hallways in order to receive healthy treats from DCH staff and other civic spirits.

The Rowley Masonic Community hosted a Haunted House and Trick-or-Treat event from 6-7:30 p.m., with visitors greeted by a variety of friendly spirits.

Little beggars also ran at large through the neighborhoods of Perry from 6-8 p.m., trick or treating in safety and security as motorists used extra caution on city streets and adults kept a watchful eye on their young charges.
