WOODWARD — Though the season has long been over, the Class 1A All-District 5 team was only recently revealed, a list that includes 11 players from Woodward-Granger.
W-G finished 6-3 overall and 5-2 in district play. Named to the First Team were linebacker Austin Scharlau, defensive lineman Logan Canova and offensive lineman Brody Easter.
Linebacker Cole Carmen and punter Reese Jamison were both selected for the Second Team. Also chosen for that squad were running back Payton Tague, offensive lineman Jackson Newland and wide receiver Bryce Achenbach.
Offensive lineman Jon Jones and linebackers Gabe Yingst and Josh Saak were all named Honorable Mention.
