The city of Perry has announced several schedule changes for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.
City Offices and the Perry Water Works office will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
The Perry Public Library will be closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
The McCreary Community Building will be closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
Garbage and recycle routes scheduled for Monday, Dec. 25 will be picked up Tuesday, Dec. 26. Garbage and recycle routes scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 26 will be picked up Wednesday, Dec. 27.
Garbage and recycle routes scheduled for Monday, Jan. 1 will be picked up on Tuesday, Jan. 2. Garbage and recycle routes scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 2 will be picked up Wednesday, Jan. 3.
The city of Perry will pick up Christmas trees and evergreen garlands or wreaths from residences Wednesday, Jan. 10. Trees should have all decorations removed. Please do not place trees or greenery in disposal bags.
Trees and greenery should be placed by the curb by 7 a.m. to assure pickup. For more information call the Perry City Hall at 515-465-2481.
