Santa Claus closed out his busy day in Dallas County Saturday by turning on the Woodward Christmas tree at 6 p.m. and the Minburn creche at 6:30 p.m.
The jolly fat man started his day early at the Bouton breakfast and greeted visitors in the Woodward Public Library from 1-5 p.m. and then enjoyed some hot soup at the Minburn United Methodist Church from 5-7 p.m.
A special gift was found under the tree at the Hotel Pattee in Perry, where the Schonesland Porsche Club of Iowa parked a vintage unit.
