Whether or not the weather co-operates, the show will go on.
Sun or snow, wet or dry, toasty or chilled, the Perry Booster Club’s Tinsel Trot 5K Fun Run will be held Saturday.
The fundraising “race” begins at the Raccoon Valley Bank, where check-in for participants will begin at 10 a.m. with the 5K starting at 10:30 a.m.
Cost to enter is $30 for adults and $20 for students and walk-up registrations are welcome.
While garish, outlandish, fun and spirited holiday garb is encouraged, it is not required. Prizes will be awarded to the Most Festive adult, student and team.
Registration forms are available at Perry High School, Perry Middle School, Perry Chamber of Commerce, McCreary Community Building, SNAP Fitness, Raccoon Valley Bank and Perry Perk. Facebook registration is offered @perrybooster.
