It was perfect ribbon-cutting weather Friday, when It’s Hair launched in its new and newly remodeled location at 1222 Second St.
Stephanie Garrett, a Perry native fixture in the self-care market since 1989, thanked the family and friends who gathered at noontime for the ceremony, sponsored by the Perry Chamber of Commerce.
Garrett thanked her mother, Arlene Garrett, for training her in the beauty business, and she thanked the contractors who turned Lenny Stracke’s former barbershop into a thing of beauty.
Garrett also thanked her fiance, Joshua Carman, in a touching tribute to their successful teamwork.
It’s Hair is a full-service hair salon, with services including hair color, men’s cuts, perming, spray tanning, shampoo/sets, prom and wedding and children’s cuts. The phone number is 515-465-4544.
