Jean Lucille Devilbiss, 73, of Perry passed away July 25, 2025, peacefully at home surrounded by her family.
Jean, the daughter of Donald “Red” and LouLou Devilbiss, was born on Nov. 6, 1951, in Greenfield, Iowa.
Jean was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She took pride in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, often bragging about them or telling people stories of what they did.

Jean leaves behind her son, Billy (Dyan) Devilbiss of Bagley; grandchildren, Torie Devilbiss, Breagen Devilbiss and Deegan Devilbiss; great-grandchildren, Journee Lee , Leddi Lou and Atheina Emsley; brothers, Pete (Beth) Devilbiss of Blanchard, Oklahoma, Bill (Patty) Devilbiss of Perry and Lisa (Kevin) Ashworth of Scranton; nieces, Tammy Devilbiss of Redfield, Sherry Devilbiss of Bouton and Keri Devilbiss of Everett, Washington; many great-nieces and great-nephews; and her dog, Tinky.
The family wants to thank Gentiva Hospice, D.K.6 Construction and Gerry Bacon along with her niece, Sherry Devilbiss, for all their help in making it possible for Jean to come home to live her final days. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
Jean wanted everyone to know she lived a good life.
