- An officer responded to a business alarm activation at 1004 N. Elm St. A key holder was contacted, and the business was searched. All was fine.
- Officers assisted the Greene County EMS with a medical call in the 700 block of Wild Rose Lane.
- Ellen Morris reported a careless driver on S. Elm Street. Morris followed the vehicle until an officer could catch up and perform a traffic stop at 220th Street and R Avenue.
- Brady Brehmer reported a careless driver on N Avenue, traveling toward Jefferson. An officer performed a traffic stop with the vehicle at 220th Street and M Avenue. The officer warned the driver of the complaint and issued Kelsey Hoff of Thayer a citation for fark windows.
- Mark Morrow spoke with an officer concerning a civil property issue occurring at 702 W. Mahlon St.
- Eddie Miller reported barking dogs in the 300 block of W. South Street.
- Lori Campbell reported a stray dog near 702 Pinet Place. An officer located the animal and placed it in the Animal Holding Facility.
- A traffic stop was performed in the 500 block of N. Elm Street, resulting in Chris Conner of Jefferson being issued a citation for excessive speed.
- Ryan Brown said his neighbor’s dog bit him at 1006 N. Walnut St. An officer’s investigation led to the animal being placed in 10-day quarantine with a veterinarian. The animal will have to leave the city after the quarantine period is up. It has been deemed an illegal animal, according to city ordinances.
- Brandi Garret of Grand Junction was issued a citation for open container–passenger after an officer saw an open container of alcohol in a vehicle in the 300 block of N. Elm Street.
- A traffic stop was performed at Elm and Central streets, resulting in Cynthia Pesce of Des Moines being issued a citation for failure to have a valid driver’s license and failure to obey a stop sign.
