- An officer checked on a 911 hang-up call from 505 N. Wilson Ave. The subject was fine and advised he accidentally hit the emergency button when shutting his alarm off.
- Eric Chrystal advised he went to work on a vacant rental property and discovered a couple asleep in the residence. He asked for an officer to make them leave. The officer arrived and woke the couple up, who left the property without incident.
- An officer investigated a two-vehicle property-damage accident at Elm Street and Lincoln Way. A 2004 Ford F150, owned and operated by Larry Saddoris of Jefferson, left the posted stop sign on Lincoln Way travelling west. A 2013 Ford F150, owned and operated by Timothy Buenz of Jefferson, struck the passenger side of the Saddoris vehicle in the intersection. Buenz said he did not see the Saddoris vehicle enter the intersection due to the sun in his eyes. Both vehicles had a reported $500 in damages. Buenz was issued a citation for failure to obey a stop sign.
- An officer attempted to remove a bat from the Greene County Recreation Center but could not reach the bat in the rafters.
- An officer investigated a two-vehicle accident at the uncontrolled intersection at Adams and Pinet streets. A 2009 Toyota Camry, owned and operated by Lisa Minnehan of Churdan, was southbound on Pinet Street. A 2016 Ford Explorer, owned and operated by Mollie Scott of Lake View, was westbound on Adams Street. The vehicles collided in the intersection. Both vehicles had a reported $500 in damages. Minnehan was issued a citation for failure to yield to the vehicle on the right.
- Trent Jurries spoke with an officer in connection to a civil child-custody exchange.
- B. J. Charlson spoke with an officer about a civil child-custody issue.
- Marcy Roth reported three dogs in the bed of a pickup in the parking lot at 106 W. Washington St. Roth was worried about the animals due to the cold temperatures. An officer made contact with the owner of the truck, who refused to speak to the officer and drove away from the area. The dogs appeared to be fine.
- An officer checked on a business alarm activation at 400 N. Elm St. The business owner advised it was a false alarm.
