  • An officer located a suspicious vehicle parked at 301 American Drive. The business was secure, and the officer concluded the vehicle broke down and was left there. The officer is attempting to reach the owner.
  • Ian Wilkison reported people knocking on his windows at 1205 Southfield Drive. The officer was called back a few minutes later for the same event, and a landscaping light had been damaged. The officer has identified a suspect and is investigating.
  • Skylar Shaner brought a purse to the Law Enforcement Center that he found in the middle of the street in the 100 block of N. Grimmell Road. The purse contained an ID card, and an officer is working to return it to the owner.
  • An officer issued a parking violation notice in the 100 block of N. Cedar Street for parking between lot line and curb line.
  • Yvon Day reported a stray husky in her yard at 604 S. Oak St. An officer contacted the animal’s owner and returned the animal.
  • A caller said a female left a handwritten note and some items on his porch at 307 S.Chestnut St. The caller had video footage of the female. An officer recognized the female and will advise her to end this behavior.
  • Irene Mischke reported the theft of prescription medication from 1000 W. Adams St., #39.
  • A traffic stop near 235th and Parkland streets resulted in Bradley Johnston of Grand Junction being issued a citation for excessive speed.
  • Tammy Binkley requested an officer at 701 S. Maple St. for her grandchild, who was  refusing to go home with her. The child began to walk away from the area. Officers returned the child to his guardian.
  • Jill Mills reported a stray dog running loose in the 300 block of N. Pinet Street. The animal was not located.
  • Gary Parker reported missing yard tools from his garage at 602 S. Maple St. The leaf blower and weed eater were last known to be there on Monday. The value of the stolen items is $350.
  • An officer spoke to a resident in the 300 block of W. State Street about trimming some bushes that were obscuring vision at the intersection with Oak Street.
  • A caller reported two juveniles on skateboards in the street in the 700 block of S. Elm Street. An officer did not locate the teenagers.
  • An officer assisted the Greene County Ambulance with a medical call in the 300 block of S. Cedar Street.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
