  • Lexi Ayres requested an officer at 600 W. Washington St. for a fight with her mother. An officer arrived and spoke to both parties. The officer worked to defuse the issues, and the parties separated for the day.
  • The Carroll County Sheriff’s office reported an erratic driver on 220th Street and traveling eastward toward Jefferson. An officer did not locate the reported vehicle in Jefferson.
  • Officers assisted the medical examiner with a death Investigation in the 1000 block of W. Adams Street.
  • An officer spoke to someone at 704 Pinet Place about burning trash in a barrel. The person was advised only yard waste can be burnt in the city limits. The fire was extinguished.
  • Cindy Rowland requested assistance from officers in locating her teenage daughter who left the residence at 911 N. Pinet St. after an argument with her mother. The juvenile was located and returned home a short time later.
  • Bruce Binkley reported a female attempting to gain entry into the vacant apartments at 307 N. Wilson Ave. Officers searched the building and found no evidence of anyone inside.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
