Jere Scar, 65, of Woodward passed away Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2023, at her home near Woodward, Iowa.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Jere Linn Scar was born May 20, 1958, in Boone, Iowa, to James David and Donna Lee (Sarver) Zenor.
She attended Madrid High School.
Jere was united in marriage to David Charles Scar in May 2000 at the Lake Robbins Ball Room.
She worked as a resident treatment worker at the Woodward Resource Center.
Jere loved dogs, being on the farm, gardening and walking outside.
In death she rejoins her husband, David Scar; parents, James and Donna Zenor; and a brother, David Lee Zenor.
Left to cherish Jere’s memory are her sons, Mike Scar, Dan Scar and Tim Scar; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and her brothers, Richard Zenor and Stephen Cummings-Chase.
