Jon Dvorak, 78, of Bagley passed peacefully on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2025 at the Perry Lutheran Home in Perry, Iowa.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, Sept. 21 at 4:30 p.m. at the Heartland Church of Christ at 14417 J Ave. in Perry. A graveside service was held on Monday, Aug. 18 at the Dodge Center Cemetery near Bagley, Iowa.
Jon was born on Aug. 8, 1947, in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Konrad and Mildred (Petty) Dvorak.
He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawaii and was an editor, entrepreneur and hard worker.
Jon had a passion for the arts, including photography and writing.
Jon is survived by brothers, David (Marilyn) Dvorak of Caldwell, Idaho, Phillip (Ellen) Dvorak of Perry and Randall (Joni) Dvorak of Bagley; sisters, Marla (Kent) Bates of Bagley and Barbara Miller of Anamosa, Colorado; and many nephews; nieces; and cousins.
