Kenneth Mosher, 79, of Perry passed away Monday, Dec. 10, 2018, at his home in Perry, Iowa.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, Dec. 15 at 12:00 p.m. at the Newton Union Cemetery in Newton. Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 14 from 5-7 p.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home and Cremation Care in Perry. Memorials will be given to the Shriners, Saint Jude Children’s Hospital or AHeinz57 Pet Rescue and Transport and may be left at the funeral home. Kenneth Wayne Mosher was born Aug. 19, 1939, in Newton, Iowa, to Donald and Jessie Dorless (Braley) Mosher.

He attended Albany High School, graduating with the class of 1957.

Kenneth was united in marriage to Emma Joann Davis in Miami, Okla., July 6, 1968.

He worked for 45 years at the Progressive Foundry in Perry.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Perry, Moose Lodge and GMP Molders Union.

He loved old country music and rock and roll and dogs.

In death he rejoins his parents, Donald and Dorless Mosher; sisters, Shirley and Barbara Jean; and brother, Donald Jr.

Left to cherish Kenneth’s memory are his wife, Emma Mosher; son, Kenneth Mosher Jr. of Perry; and grandchildren, Macie and Myles Mosher.
