To the editor:
As a member of the Iowa Young Republicans, I see that young conservatives aren’t just energized — we’re growing.
According to AP VoteCast analysis, President Trump won 47% of voters aged 18 to 29 in the 2024 election, up from 36% in 2020.
This isn’t a fluke. It’s a sign that a new generation is rejecting defeatist narratives and embracing a bold, unapologetically pro-American vision. We’re looking for leaders who understand that putting our country, our workers and our values first is common sense.
That’s why I am proud to support our Iowa delegation.
While China builds two new coal plants per week and floods our markets with cheap, dirty goods, Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks is focused on strengthening American supply chains, reshoring critical industries and ending our dependence on foreign adversaries. Her bill, the Critical Infrastructure Manufacturing Feasibility Act, was recently passed by the U.S. House of Representatives.
We believe that a key method to holding China accountable is by not letting them off the hook for their pollution. This is the kind of leadership young voters want to see — especially those of us who are tired of seeing our country penalized for playing by the rules while others cheat the system.
Young Republicans want a pro-growth, pro-America agenda that builds a future we can believe in. Our representatives are answering the call and leading a conservative movement that’s not afraid to innovate, stand tall against foreign threats and secure a better deal for the next generation of Americans.

You’re a fool, supporting this fascist, lying, criminal, rapist, thief and his confederacy of dunces.
If you want Trump to burn down your life, fine, but keep your evil greed far away from us sane Iowans.
The future we can believe in is one in which your kind is left to the dust bin of history.
