To the editor:

The Perry Community Christmas Dinner Committee is very grateful to the many businesses, groups and individuals who donated time, talents, product and financial support to the 19th Community Christmas Dinner.

Because of this support, we were able to provide food and fellowship to around 500 people and donate $2,146 to the local Food Pantry.

Thank you to all who helped in so many ways and especially: Minburn Communications, Trinity Lutheran Church, Fareway Meat Department, Fareway Grocery Department, Farm Credit Services, Hy-Vee, First Christian Church, Perry Elks Lodge, Dallas County Hospital, Bob Gittens, First Baptist Church, Optimists Club, Denny and Sandy Pennington, KDLS, Perry Chief, PACES Program, ThePerryNews.com, Perry Chamber of Commerce, DJ’s Septic Service, Perry Bible Church, New Day Assembly Church, Farm Bureau Financial Services, John and Kathy Powell, St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, Scrumbtious Baked Goods, Kwik Star, Perry Greenhouse and Heartland Church of Christ.

May you be rewarded in the knowledge that your kindness benefited others.
