Limits imposed as demand outstrips supply at Perry Food Pantry

Beginning Thursday, Sept. 19, the Perry Emergency Food Pantry will be limited to 40 customers on Tuesdays and 40 on Thursdays.

“This is due to our volunteers’ ability to serve and the amount of food and other items we are able to stock on our shelves,” said Food Pantry Site Manager Lou Hoger.

Hoger said the greater numbers have only been a problem on Thursdays, while Tuesdays have many fewer customers.

“We regret any inconvenience,” he said.
