Funeral services for Linda Johnson, 65, of Bagley and formerly of Perry will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3 at Murdock Funeral Home in Perry. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery near Guthrie Center.
Pallbearers are Matt Murray, Tim Odin, Jeremiah Ellett, Joshua Walker, Dallas Walker and Paul Booth. Honorary pallbearers are Harry Ellett III, Andy Walker, Anthony Walker, Adam Walker and David Walker.
Visitation will be prior to the service from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Murdock Funeral Home on Wednesday. Memorials may be directed to the family in Linda’s name and may be left or sent to the funeral home.
Linda passed away Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
Linda Sue Johnson was born Aug. 19, 1952, in Somers, Iowa, the daughter of Frank Arthur and Agatha (Lillie) Steadman. She was the youngest of nine children.
She attended Panora High School and spent most of her life in the Perry area.
Linda married Michael Dee Johnson May 7, 1988, in Perry. They have lived the past 16 years in Bagley.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Johnson of Bagley; one son, Keith (Stacy) Palmer of Ankeny; two daughters, Happy (Harry) Ellett III of Perry and Crystal (Andy) Walker of Osceola; two step-daughters, Jessica (David) Carlson of Jewell and Amber (Brian) Impecoven of Ellsworth; two brothers, Richard (Shirley) Steadman Sr. of Rippey and Joe Steadman of Perry; 12 grandchildren, Tasha (Paul) Booth, Skye (Matt) Murray, Jeremiah Ellett, Joshua (Valentina) Walker, Dallas (Kaitlynn) Walker, Anthony Walker, Adam Walker, David Walker, Rebecca Carlson, Michael Carlson, Brielle Impecoven and Kellen Impecoven; two great-grandchildren, Layla and Lincoln Booth.
Preceding Linda in death were her parents; three brothers, Art, Lee and Raymond; and her three sisters, Rita, Viola and Helen.
